Wild & Scenic Environmental Film Fest (non-MCG event)

One of our favorite local non-profit groups is the Organization for the Assabet River, which does a lot of wonderful work preserving and protecting our river and watershed. This upcoming event is one we’ll be sure to attend: the Wild & Scenic Environmental Film Festival, to be held at the Fine Arts Theater, 19 Summer Street in Maynard. Ten films, ranging in length from 1 -30 minutes, will be shown. Tickets are $10 and you can buy them online or at the door. Social and Planning Meeting (all welcome)

On Thursday, March 5, MCG invites you to a social at 7pm prior to an abbreviated planning meeting from 7:30 – 8:00pm. If you have ever wondered what goes on at the monthly planning meeting or are considering getting more involved in the club, that night will be a perfect opportunity to talk with some of the current committee chairs and officers. We’ll have refreshments available. Meetings take place at the Maynard Public Library, 77 Nason Street.
